Educational Experience
Mrs. Fulton has been working in Kannapolis City Schools since 2004 and at A.L. Brown High School since 2013. While she works mostly with freshmen she enjoys the relationships she builds and maintains with students at every level.  She is most known for her moniker, "Fulton Extraordinaire" and her reminder to students: "Once a Fulton, always a Fulton."  Her number 1 rule in her classroom and for life is "Respect without exception."

Educational Philosophy
"Success in school begins with a positive experience in the classroom and ends with dedication to personal improvement and growth. I have high expectations for myself and for my students. It is my duty and passion to help realize students' potential and set up a foundation for success throughout high school. It is my expectation that students come to class everyday prepared to learn, participate, and that they desire their own success."

What's New?
We've moved into Quarter 2 with a fresh start!  Unit 2 will cover topics of historical social justice, inner-conflict, and dealing with the expectations of others.  We continue with ACT and root-word themed vocabulary.  Texts we will be looking at include To Kill a Mockingbird and Romeo and Juliet.
