Philosophy of Education:

I have always believed that all students have the ability to succeed. Sometimes, however, students are not always encouraged to show their learning in a way that best demonstrates their abilities. It is because of this, that I have incorporated reading and writing workshops into my classroom. Reading and writing workshops allow students the freedom to choose their projects and textbooks. Throughout the semester, every student will be working on individual projects (reading and writing) at a pace that will help them succeed in my class. It is my expectation that students will come to class every day prepared to work, learn, participate, and succeed.
