Educational Philosophy
Self-Efficacy is key! Every classroom experience that students have serves to strengthen their resolve or discourage it. It is my belief that educators are to be "strategically responsive" to the needs of students; recognizing that, collectively, we are the classroom builders who construct students' mastery and vicarious experiences. When we consistently create experiences that promote a greater depth of thought, students will in-turn think more highly of themselves and their accomplishments. When this happens, they will begin to: set higher personal goals, self-regulate, and resolve problems by making better decisions.
